Dr. Amanda Engels is co-owner and chiropractor at Resilient Chiropractic. Dr. Amanda is a Louisiana native, and grew up in a small town north of Baton Rouge. Her love for playing sports led her to obtain a bachelors in Kinesiology from Southeastern Louisiana University. After reading the philosophy behind chiropractic, she decided to pursue her Doctorate in Chiropractic from Life University in Georgia.

This is where she received her very first adjustment, and her whole life changed. She fell in love with the profession and knew that she had made the right decision. At Life University, she also discovered her passion for helping the pediatric and prenatal population.

She is driven to help people of all ages reach optimal health by getting to the root cause and allowing the body to heal, without the use of drugs or surgery.

On weekends, you can spot Dr. Amanda spending time with her husband, Hunter, and two boys, Martin and Rhett. They enjoy spending time with extended family, hanging out in St. Francisville,  or being at home together.

Dr. Debrah O’Hara is co-owner and chiropractor at Resilient Chiropractic. Dr. Debrah is originally from Georgia, and grew up in towns surrounding Atlanta. After discovering her interest in the biomechanics of the human body, she obtained a bachelors in Science. Her uncle (who is also a chiropractor) encouraged her to go to Life University in Georgia, where she received her Doctorate in Chiropractic.

This is where she received her very first adjustment, and witnessed several amazing health transformations. She focused her time learning about the importance of chiropractic care in pediatrics and prenatal through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA).

She has made it her mission to see healthy kids become healthy adults, and that starts at conception.

On weekends, you can spot Dr. Debrah spending time outdoors with her husband, Kyle, and son, Laithe. They enjoy taking the boat out fishing and cooking together.

Together they make up the dynamic doctor duo at Resilient Chiropractic.

Resilient Chiropractic offers neurologically-based chiropractic care for the entire family. We work to restore proper communication from the brain to the rest of the body. Our goal is to achieve meaningful life improvement so you and your family can live life resiliently.

At Resilient Chiropractic, we use state of the art technology to assess the nervous system function, stress response, and adaptability. Alteration in any of these is oftentimes a result of nerve interference. With gentle yet specific techniques (Torque Release Technique and Logan Basic), we remove any nerve interference allowing the body to heal. Rather than chasing symptoms, these techniques address the root cause of your health concerns.

Our doctors see people of all ages, but have spent many additional continuing education hours to specialize in pediatric and prenatal care. They are Webster Technique certified, which is a specific technique for pregnant women that helps create balance in the pelvis to minimize low back pain and give the baby optimal room to get in optimal position.

Our gentle techniques are perfect for the pediatric population, as there is no twisting, turning, popping, or cracking. We help with symptoms such as: latching issues, colic/reflux, torticollis, ear infections, immunity issues, digestive issues, ADD/ADHD, sensory processing disorders, bed wetting, anxiety, depression, sport performance, just to name a few.

We would love the opportunity to serve you and your family!
