Since LA Gold Gymnastics opened in October of 2016, our goal has been to use the sport of gymnastics to prepare children for a lifetime of success, both inside and outside of the gym. We believe that the physical fitness, dedication, work ethic, and personal achievement that gymnastics teaches is an opportunity to build an experience that will impact children for life.
In addition to gymnastics, LA Gold Gymnastics is also a Personal Development Center, focusing each month on developing specific character traits. We believe that building good character is just as important as physical skills and achievements. We are committed to helping equip children with the skills and character to succeed not just in gymnastics, but in life.
LA Gold Gymnastics’ recreational and competitive programs are success-based. They are designed to meet every child’s unique needs, with plenty of celebration along the way. Our expert instructors use the latest training techniques to help your child reach his or her full potential in a welcoming, positive and fun atmosphere—from preschool to competitive team.
LA Gold Gymnastics offers classes for preschool gymnastics, recreational gymnastics with classes for beginners to advanced gymnasts, tumbling classes for beginners to advanced, and two competitive team options through USA Gymnastics. We host clinics for children who are focused on mastering specific skills for gymnastics and tumbling. We hold summer and holiday camps that are gymnastics focused, with games, activities, and crafts. In addition, we offer a monthly Kid’s Night Out where kids can come to play with friends, do gymnastics, play games and more. We also offer birthday parties for our members, with an obstacle course, plenty of gymnastics, and games, finishing in our designated party area where guests can enjoy drinks and birthday cake with the birthday celebration.
LA Gold Gymnastics is conveniently located just off of Essen Lane in Baton Rouge. We have a 10,169 square foot facility, and have a staff of highly skilled coaches and teachers. We maintain an average 8:1 gymnast to teacher ratio.
Gymnastics is for recreation, competition, education, personal excellence, personal improvement, self-esteem, and most of all, FUN! We love the strength gymnastics builds, the balance it teaches, and the focus it demands. We get just as much satisfaction seeing children at a party trying gymnastics for the first time as we do seeing our competitive teams winning gold medals. In short, we love gymnastics.
