Following his graduation from law school, McKernan joined his father’s law firm, McKernan Law Firm, where he honed his legal skills and gained invaluable experience. In 2009, he assumed leadership of the firm, which has since been renamed Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys. Under McKernan’s stewardship, Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys has expanded to become one of the largest and most successful law firms in the region. As the owner of Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys, his law firm upholds these same values of hard work, determination, and resilience in its tireless pursuit of justice and unwavering dedication to its clients.

McKernan practices law in all Louisiana Courts, Mississippi Courts, and Texas State Courts and has been involved in a wide variety of personal injury claims, including 18-wheeler accidents, car wrecks, drunk driving accidents, commercial vehicle accidents, vehicle rollovers, offshore and maritime cases, wrongful death cases, and personal injury cases involving injuries such as brain injuries, amputations, fractures, burns, and various disk injuries.
