BRMHS provides students the best opportunity to build a solid college preparatory background by offering Honors, Dual Enrollment, and Advanced Placement courses that motivate students to excel beyond the normal challenge at each grade level. The school is unique in that it is the only high school in the nation with both AM/FM student-operated stations streaming. With seventy-five clubs and organizations, along with successful athletic teams, character building is encouraged to facilitate the culture of the school. This year the Legacy of Excellence has been continued by the recognition of more 2023 National Merit Semi-Finalists than any other school in the state of Louisiana – public or private. We also recognized students who are National Merit Commended, Hispanic Recognized Scholars, African-American Recognized Scholars, Presidential Scholar Candidates, and over 380 Advanced Placement Scholars.
